Artículo N° 06 de la Revista Xauxa N° 00, Año I
Resumen: Carlos DELLEPIANE ALONSO, historiador y General del Ejército Peruano (1893 – 1946), publica dos tomos de Historia Militar del Perú (1931 y 1936) empleando la metodología de estudio de la historia militar de la escuela francesa, con un muy bien documentado y prolijo trabajo de recopilación y análisis sobre los hechos militares desde las guerras de inicio de la república hasta la guerra con Chile. Su cercanía a las fuentes tanto de la Independencia como de la Guerra del pacífico donde tuvo la oportunidad de acceder a fuentes periodísticas, testimonios y entrevistas con los protagonistas le otorgan a su obra un gran valor en la actualidad.
Abstract: Carlos DELLEPIANE ALONSO, historian and General of the Peruvian Army (1893 – 1946), publishes two volumes of Military History of Peru (1931 and 1936) using the methodology of study of military history of the French school, with a very well documented and detailed compilation and analysis work on military events from the early wars of the republic to the war with Chile. His closeness to the sources of both the Independence and the Pacific War where he had the opportunity to access journalistic sources, testimonies and interviews with the protagonists give his work great value today.
