Resumen: Las distinciones militares forman parte inseparable del alma de los pueblos por que surgen y constituyen el reflejo inmanente del reconocimiento social hacia aquellos seres humanos que por la dignidad de su conducta en el campo de batalla trascienden a la muerte irradiando honor y gloria para su pueblo. En este ensayo se busca estudiar el origen, la trayectoria y significado que la distinción militar del grado de Mariscal aporta a la próxima Bicentenaria República del Perú.
Abstract: Military distinctions are an inseparable part of the soul of peoples because they arise and constitute the immanent reflection of social recognition towards those human beings who, due to the dignity of their conduct on the battlefield, transcend death, radiating honor and glory for their people. This essay seeks to study the origin, trajectory and meaning that the military distinction of the rank of Marshal brings to the next bicentennial Republic of Peru.
