Edición Especial: “Morro de Arica: Epopeya Inmortal”
Reseña: El mundo andino pre colombino, tanto multi cultural como inca, que se integra inseparablemente con la conquista española durante el Virreinato a través de la religión católica al mundo occidental y que hoy forma “la hispanidad” en América como resultado del proceso de rompimiento político con el Imperio Español a inicios del Siglo XX, resulta insuficiente para explicarnos el surgimiento y proceso de la peruanidad; y es ahí donde la respuesta de Bolognesi y el martirologio de la Batalla de Arica ingresan, en tanto hecho, histórico al debate sobre la identidad nacional.
Abstract: The pre-Columbian Andean world, both multi-cultural and Inca, which is inseparably integrated with the Spanish conquest during the Viceroyalty through the Catholic religion to the Western world and which today forms “Hispanity” in America as a result of the process of political rupture with the Spanish Empire at the beginning of the 20th century, is insufficient to explain the emergence and process of Peruvian identity; and it is there where the response of Bolognesi and the martyrdom of the Battle of Arica enter, as a historical fact, the debate on national identity
