Resumen: “EL HOMBRE DE LAS NIEVES”, es un cuento corto que narra las circunstancias de un hombre común arrastrado por los ideales de la independencia en curso y de su esposa que lo acompaña en los turbulentos tiempos de un anhelado de cambio que nunca es más que una razonable incertidumbre. El TTe Crl Carlos Freyre enlaza magistralmente los acontecimientos históricos con la figura de un personaje característico de la Lima Virreinal que se resiste a ser olvidado: El Hombre de las Nieves.
Abstract: “THE SNOWMAN”, is a short story that narrates the circumstances of a common man dragged by the ideals of ongoing independence and his wife who accompanies him in the turbulent times of a yearned for change that is never more than a reasonable uncertainty. The TTe Crl Carlos Freyre masterfully links historical events with the figure of a characteristic character of Viceroyalty Lima who refuses to be forgotten: The Snowman.
